Project Overview
The project's primary objective was to create a dog scheduling platform. In addition to scheduling, the platform also includes a social aspect, allowing users to search for nearby dog walkers and share their feedback on dog walkers and their experiences.
My Contributions
I was the only designer on the project so everything you see I created myself. I was involved in everything from defining the problem and personas, creating flows and wireframes, all the way to creating empathy with users and meaningful UI designs.
Starting with the basics. Who, what and why.
I started by outlining the strategy, identifying the problem and target audience for a dog scheduling app. I defined key business attributes and crafted a problem statement. Simultaneously, I conducted user research to shape a user persona. These documents served as guiding principles for the project's decisions, guiding the design process and fostering deep empathy with the users.
Defining the flow
After that, I created a flowchart to illustrate how the platform would be organized, considering some features on mind. I made sure to discuss and incorporate these features into the plan.

After that Idefined the flow and thus what screens we needed I proceeded with creating the wireframes to explore the experience in more detail on a screen-by-screen level. The main focus was the dog walker scheduling flow which sits at the heart of the app.

Final UI
Next, I moved to exploring the overall look of the app. I did this by creating mock-ups using the same layout but different styles. Taking this route instead of creating mood boards helped communicate different directions we could take more vividly as the user could clearly achieve their goals without any hesitations.

After creating all the UI mockups for the dog walker app and quickly brought them to life with interactive prototyping, ensuring a smooth and dynamic user experience.
